Accessibility

To many people, an accessible website is one where menus are clear and content is easy to read and logically laid out, but there's much more to it than that. Can you resize the text? Can the site be used by visitors with motor or visual impairment? Can you change the background and text colour easily? Ideally, and now legally, it certainly should be possible.

Are there any official standards of accessibility?

Yes. Our sites comply with World Wide Web Consortium Web Accessibility standards. What does this mean? Websites which conform to current industry standards will not only be compatible with all browsers on all operating systems, but will also be readable and easy to navigate by users with visual or motor impairment. This is now a legal necessity, but a great many websites are still poorly designed in this regard and, in theory, leave companies open to litigation. Can you afford to take that risk? Can you afford to shut out millions of potential customers?
